All 7 camps came together for one last field trip and to show off their camp pride. Campers and staffed danced, competed in games, and performed the rap they learned from the scripture lessons. Even when the rain prevented us from going outside, the room did not stop the joy and excitement.
This summer we served over 500 children (1st-8th grade) through 7 free 6 week summer camps. 60 teens from the neighborhood, many of whom group up in camp, worked as counselors. 21 college aged students served as interns. Over 500 volunteers served through WorkTeams, in our camps, provided supplies, and cooked meals.
