Support UrbanPromise by running in the Delaware Charity Challenge 5K Race!
Saturday, May 2 at Lums Pond in Bear, DE
How it works: Teams comprised of at least 4 individuals will select their charity of choice when they register for the Delaware Charity Challenge. Until May 1, 2015, teams are encouraged to raise money for their selected charity. All monies raised by the team will go directly toward the selected charity. The three charities that raise the most money during this period will win prize money, which will be pooled from race sponsorships and registration fees.
On May 2, 2015, the day of the Delaware Charity Challenge, teams will race in one of several races, including a women’s team 5k, a men’s team 5k, a co-ed team 5K, a fun 5K run/walk, or the Adventure Challenge Relay race. The winning team of each of these races will also win additional prize money, which will be pooled from race sponsorships and registration fees.
Registration costs cover your race entry, basic t-shirts, and parking at Lums Pond. Runners and participants can also upgrade to a tech t-shirt for an additional $15.
