On April 15th, kids from UrbanPromise Wilmington, Delaware will board a plane to embark on an unforgettable expedition halfway across the country to Arkansas! Camps Victory and Promise are excited to explore a new area. Traveling to Little Rock will provide students, like Joshua, with new opportunities that they wouldn’t experience otherwise: an airplane ride, canoeing, hiking a mountain. Family vacations are special, memorable times that many of our families cannot afford! Taking our kids into a new environment gives us opportunities to grow together in Christ, conquer fears and overcome obstacles in this unique context.
Why is a spring break trip so powerful????
- Our kids experience Christ’s body and love in a larger context outside of their daily after school program with UrbanPromise
- Kids have a unique opportunity to put their faith into practice and see God moving in this encouraging environment
- Intense time together provides opportunities for meaningful discussions
