Summer Camps

Summer Camps run for six weeks each summer and include arts & crafts, songs, skits, recreation, Bible lessons, educational enrichment, and weekly trips. Children are served both breakfast and lunch. Outside of camp, children are able to participate in additional activities such as praise dance, tennis, basketball, drama, Bible Buddies, and creative art.

Elementary Ages (entering grades 1-5):

2010 Calendar Dates:
- June 28: First day of Camp
- July 5: No camp (observance of Independence Day)
- August 5: Awards Night, 6:30pm
- August 6: Last day of Summer Camps
General Information:
- Summer Camps run Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.
- The summer camps are intended for children who live in the immediate neighborhood around the site. No transportation to or from camp is provided.
- There is no fee for summer camp. However, we do require a $10 deposit per child at time of registration to hold their space. Once camp begins, you may choose to apply the $10 towards a camp t-shirt, field trip fees, or be refunded after one week of camp attendance.
- Each camp will go on a weekly trip, usually scheduled on Fridays. Please refer to the registration packet for a schedule of trips and fees.
- Children are required to wear a camp T-shirt ($10) on trips for identification purposes.
- Breakfast and lunch are provided daily by the City of Wilmington Summer Food Program
