Internship Program

By inviting people who are new to inner-city communities, UrbanPromise seeks to bridge the chasm between various ethnic and socio-economic groups. UrbanPromise builds relationships that destroy stereotypes which exist between urban, suburban and rural communities.
Summer Internships
Summer interns commit 7 weeks to serving in UrbanPromise Summer Camps. They prepare and teach lessons and build relationships with the children and their families. Through living and working in the inner city, interns have the opportunity to directly experience urban issues.
Year-Round Internships
Year Year-Round interns spend a full year in service at UrbanPromise, assisting in the AfterSchool programs and the day-to-day operations of the ministry. The year-round internship consists of hands-on service, classes in urban issues, Christian education, community life and service.
