UrbanPromise was honored to have Governor Jack Markell visit today. He toured Camp Freedom (Northeast) and Camp Hope (Southbridge) as well as met with a panel of staff and StreetLeaders.
The children were excited by this special visitor. The StreetLeaders were eager to share the needs of the city and how UrbanPromise meets those needs by providing vision, and being a family that shapes and changes lives. Governor Markell asked great questions and shared what stood out to him was the graduation rates for StreetLeaders and their ownership and personal responsibility in the community and with younger kids.
