Pray for UrbanPromise

Praise God for what He has done this semester!

• 15 3rd-5th graders went on a Spring Break trip to Washington DC where they explored the history and natural beauty of our nation's capital.  God blessed us with amazing hosts, beautiful weather, safe travels and generous support from many donors.
• 8 StreetLeaders toured multiple Southern colleges where they were encouraged and inspired to broaden their horizons and futher their education. 6 out of 8 graduating StreetLeaders will be attending college this fall!
• Urban Promise School students are reaching new heights: the entire Kindergarten class got all their spelling words right, and multiple children consistently receive perfect scores on their weekly tests.

Requests:

Urban Promise School

• continued strength, wisdom and joy for our teachers
• full enrollment for the coming school year

After-school Programs

• Math Dare competition: willing volunteers, good participation from all camps, increased confidence and ability in math
• that we may continue to be a light in our neighborhoods

StreetLeaders

• that they finish up the school year strong
• for seniors, that God would guide their decisions about college and ease their transition in the fall
• for college funding and scholarships

Administration

• that God will provide an additional $10,000 for our expanding programs
• continued progress in organizing and effectively managing our growth

Summer Preparations

• as we finalize our summer programming schedule, pray that we will be closely following God's will for the ministry.
• a solution to our transportation challenges
• that all 5 camps will be filled to capacity
• for enough interns to fully staff all camps
